Our fiber factory begins in Wyoming’s rugged mountain climate. Plenty of fresh water, open space and sunshine for the flock grows a luxery, merino grade wool. Because it is so fine, Mountain Meadow Wool is silky soft to the touch, insulates much better, breathes far more effectively, and feels delightful next to your skin. The growers actually own the fiber until it is sold as yarn. This ensures that they receive a fair wage for their efforts, encouraging them to continue sustainable agricultural methods.

Mountain Meadow Wool Mill is located at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains in Buffalo, Wyoming. Our area is rich in western history, from Indian wars and outlaws to cattlemen and sheepherders.
