MTT was incorporated in Vancouver BC in 2012 as an imaging company, leveraging our expertise in HDR and wide colour-gamuts, colour-science and human perception, algorithm development, display prototyping, and hardware development. Our aim is to develop tomorrow\'s \"wow\" imaging-technologies.We have a mix of academic and industry experience, with expertise in end-to-end research and development of real-time algorithms, proof-of-principle prototyping, embedded systems for hardware and pipelines in consumer electronics, medical imaging and display technologies (20+ years of experience in imaging; 13 years in embedded systems design).The team has 25 patents or patent applications between us, and more in the pipeline. Team members have many academic publications (invited, and refereed) in the field of imaging. We have many years of experience running industry coop-student programs, and have maintained university collaborations while at previous employers (Max Planck Institute, University of Bristol, University of Bangor, University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University).
