Not Just Hats is now 1 year young and I have to say that I love waking up every morning and going to work; work being creating new crocheted and knitted items for the home as well as wearables.

My inspiration came from my then 5 yr old step-daughter who needed a hat to wear and I didn't have any little girls hats. Needless to say, I whipped one up in about an hour and the rest is history.

I live in Southern New Jersey and I've been here most of my life, however, my husband and I are looking forward to retiring somewhere out in the Mid-west where there's more snow and mountains than sand and heat.

I learned to crochet when I was about 7 years old. My Great Aunt taught me how to make my first aphfgan and I've been crafting ever since.

I feel that making something with your own
