The Rockport Yacht Club is a vibrant organization whose members support a variety of community and club events. The club has an extensive racing series both local "Clubhouse Races", "Lighthouse Races" and the offshore "Port Mansfield Regatta". The club organizes participation in other club's activities such as the Navy Regatta and the Harvest Moon Regatta. The club has social events weekly throughout the year. The club participates in Oysterfest, the 4th of July celebration, and Christmas with floats and lighted boat parades.
