Safari Doodles was started by two stay-at-home moms, Alicia and Amanda. Both have trained hundreds of dogs of almost every breed and have titled various breeds in nearly every dog sport. As trainers and handlers, they saw the best - and worst - in every breed they met. After having children, neither wanted their babies crawling through the shedding dog hair, and both were disappointed that some of their beloved show dogs' temperaments were not child-friendly. They set out on a quest to find the perfect breed for their families. Safari Doodles was born when they found the wonderful personality of retreivers and the non-shedding coat of a poodle.
