The farm is situated 40 km from Bordeaux in the north east of the Gironde, halfway between Libourne and Castillon La Bataille.

The terroir of Saint-Emilion and dominates the Dordogne borders on its right bank. The Chateau de la Nauve is in the South-East of the town between the river and the hill. The property stretches over 3 communes concerned by the Appellation: Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, mainly as St Emilion and St Hippolyte. It comprises 7 hectares for St Emilion appellation, and 3 hectares for the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru
