In 1988, Star Textiles Company was founded in Hong Kong to mainly to import and export textiles made from natural fibers. A branch office was set up in Shenzhen in 1992 with the additional responsibility as the final quality checkpoint for all goods. This was followed by setting up of a warehouse with a storage capacity of more than 20,000 sq. feet. In order to upgrade the management of the company in line with the company‘s expansion, Star Enterprise (HK) Company Limited, a fully owned subsidiary was set up in June 1994. A few years later, in 1999 the company set up its own spinning mill in Hunan Province, China. In 2003, we opened 2 new offices in Mainland China : Shenzhen Star Textiles Co., Ltd. and Hunan Star Textiles Mill Co, Ltd. (Suzhou branch). In the same year, we bought an industrial park spread over 100,000 sq. m. and started a new weaving mill in Hunan province under the name of Hunan Star Textiles Mill Co., Ltd.
