The Skare Company was founded in 1972 - the same year that Denmark joined the European

Community.

The company is owned 100 % by the Skare family and the transfer to the next generation is

in progress.

From the very beginning, the basic philosophy has been to select, de-bone, process and pack top

quality beef and veal. Our large range of traditional cuts, portion control and processed cuts are

well known all over Europe as well as in several overseas countries.

The Headquarter is situated in Vejen, Denmark. Throughout the years, a number of subsidiaries

have been established in Europe. The first being our branch in Malaga, Spain opened in 1990 and

the first to have its own sales and distributions.

Today, Skare has expanded with branches in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Goteborg, as well

as in France (Rungis-Paris) and Germany (Rendsburg-Niebull).

In Denmark, Skare Beef ApS, a slaughterhouse with a weekly capacity of 1.600-1.700 cattle, and

Skare Food A/S, a plant for processed meat products, also belong to the Group.

When operating in a market of keen competition and conscious consumers, important elements

for the future development of the company are ongoing investments in both modernization

and expansion.

The effort and energy invested in Skare Meat Packers from day one makes it possible

for us to present a well consolidated company, prepared to meet the challenges of steadily

growing globalisation.
