Visit our local brewery on picturesque
Spencer Hill, just off Highway 3, overlooking historic Grand Forks.
THE PEOPLE: Retiree home brewer Norm Chapman is the one man behind this one-man operation, which uses several varieties of hops grown on site.
THE BEER: Big Horn Amber Ale. An IPA is scheduled to be available by spring.
BREWERY EXTRAS: Tasting room and bottle sales November-April at the brewery, which is sited on a scenic acreage above Grand Forks. May-October, beer is sold at the local farmers market and several local businesses.

Spencer Hill Cottage Brewery is preparing for the upcoming Grand Forks Farmers' Market starting May 8th. The Big Horn Amber Ale is sublime, if I do say so myself. I am also working on the new Whitetail Pale Ale recipe and hope to have this on the market by summer.
