We are the Ayyan group situated in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu, India. Our group was established in 1923 to manufacture handmade Matches in India, with the Pioneering efforts of late Mr. P. Ayya Nadar.

Today, this group of companies, under the flagship enterprise "The South Indian Lucifrer Match Works" consists of 17 Match Manufacturing units employing over 5000 skilled rural labourers.

The group has a line up of Safety Matches in Cardboard, Veneers and Wax vestas. There is an uncompromising accent on quality, cost effectiveness and safety in all our manufacturing units. Over the years, the manufacturing process has been semi-mechanised to meet the ever-increasing market demand globally.

Currently we are exporting our Safety Matches to Greece, Portugal, Panama, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Peru, Costa Rica and El Salvador and we also cater to the local markets in India.

We are manufacturing Wooden sticks matches and Wax sticks matches in a variety of Sizes and packings. They are

1. WOODEN STICKS: In this category we are having two broad varieties, both with wooden splints.

A)Both outer box and Inner box made with Duplex board.

B) Outer box made with Wooden Veneer and Inner box made with Duplex board

2. WAX VESTAS: In this Category both outer box and inner box are made from duplex board and contain sticks made from paraffin wax and paper (either white tissue or brown kraft).

In wooden sticks we are having various sizes like 38mm,40mm,42mm,48mm and 58mm and the same can be supplied in counts ranging from 10's to 300's.

In wax splints we are having length ranging from 31mm to 35mm and can be supplied in counts from 20's to 300's
