Sustainableclass is an organisation focussed on giving students the opportunity to access Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology. We use Open Source and Open Forum projects so the students can understand the full Life Cycle of building a machine, to make another machine or start manufacturing their own products. We deliver in class demonstrations of the 3D printing process along with presentations about the industry, materials, employment, professional modelling tips and CAD software supported by extensive tutorials. Students can expect to have their drawings turned into a physical product prototype while understanding how it happens. We are currently looking at office locations around Barcelona that will allow us to use Renewable energies for our own power. We will manufacture with Zero Carbon Emissions, utilise Bio-Plastics and recycled materials. Our equipment is very quiet, consumes little power and importantly the materials used to build parts are classroom safe. Please
