The Appetizer is just what the title says. It's a taste of music from across the spectrum of flavors. Nearly every genre of music is sampled on the hour-long show. The Appetizer is more like your local out-of-the-way haunt that's known for great flavor and authentic personality, The Appetizer's known for its flavorful music you can't hear anywhere else on the radio. D. Grant Smith is our "Chef," serves up a tasty buffet of tunes centered on specific theme for the week. Since starting the show in 2003, his hope has been that what you sample each week will make you crave more, and thereby expand your musical taste.
