Since 1873 The Burroughs-Ross-Colville, Co. has been producing the finest hardwood products. The company began by producing wagon spokes and wagon wheel parts, along with hickory striking tool handles. We later produced spokes for Ford Motor Company. When Ford designed the steel wheel, the spoke business pretty much became a thing of the past. In later years BRC began producing kiln dried hardwood lumber, hardwood bark mulch, dimension hardwood furniture, stock, heat treated pallets as well as continuing to produce our famous hickory striking tool handles.

We manufacture hammer, axe, sledge and other hickory handles for many of the well known tool companies and home centers. There's a good chance that you have owned one of our products at some point.
