The Footwork Shop is a training club that helps young student athletes develop their basketball skills to help them reach higher levels than would be possible by just playing alone. The club is the brain-child of former Texas A&M & Phoenix Suns player Winston Crite. After retiring from pro basketball, Winston began training and mentoring several local student-athletes who's parents had asked for help. Immediately, Winston saw the tremendous need for a developmental basketball program in the Bakersfield area. The Footwork Shop is the result of Winston's desire to provide the best training on the west coast. Now is its fifth year, the Footwork Shop has started to see several of it's young prodigies develop into outstanding local prospects.
