Kacie Stratton was the founder and now the Executive Director of The GreenHouse. She first began volunteering at Ninos Park in 2001 when she read an article in the Sacramento Bee describing the neighborhood, the number of kids living there, and the need for positive role models to give the kids the love and attention they deserve. In July 2002, The GreenHouse, a nonprofit organization was born; and in February 2003 The GreenHouse opened the doors. We currently offer after-school tutoring, mentoring, summer day camps, a youth group for teens, leadership development, and skill-building workshops for the Northgate/Gardenland neighborhood. For the past 7 years we have had the privilege reaching out the community and touching the lives of many.

The GreenHouse Community Center is a 501(c)3 organization.
