Objectives: Work with legislation, elected representatives, neighboring institutions, like-minded developers and community development organizations to address blight and unemployment rate.

Restore commercial district, develop relationship with area schools, address abandoned properties (houses/lots), encourage infill, improve infrastructure (example: sidewalks) and stimulate jobs in the community.

Work on voter registration, community education and empowerment.
