MECO seals work like a thrust bearing to accommodate 6mm or more of shaft runout. Available fully-split to facilitate mounting and retrofits, custom-designed to fit actual, exact shaft diameters. In dry applications, MECO seals often use a low-flow air-purge (.25+/- .25 cfm), and the seals can continue to function through interruptions in air flow.
