History of the Company

DELTA started in business in 2001 as a small pharmacy with the name DELTA-Pharm. By 2003, it had become the leading pharmacy in the center of Prishtina with the largest product portfolio, best services and the lowest prices.

In 2006 from small company, Delta has begun working as a wholesaler and exclusive importer of Herbal products, changing its name from Delta-Pharm to DELTA-Herbals & Vitamins (known as DELTA-H&V). In 2007, DELTA-H&V became one of the largest Herbal & Vitamins wholesaler.

From November 2007, the name changed to DELTA-HealthCare and the company began trading with Human Plasma Products, Pharmaceutical and Medical Material.

BERNARD DUSHI – is General Manager, (MrSc in Marketing and Management)

His position involves:

• Contact and formulating agreements with international companies

• Selection of manufacturers that will produce specific products for DELTA-H.C.

• Registering products with the KMA

• Institutional agreements (Ministry of Health, Hospitals, etc)

• Strategic plans for company development

• Marketing arrangements (Congress, Seminars and other professional meeting for doctors and other key personnel)

• Contact and formulating agreements with national companies (Sub-Distributors)

• Selection of products with high sales potential that will fit into our portfolio

• Handling the distribution network

• Implementing the Marketing strategy

• Creating new strategies intended to decrease company expenses

• Carrying out market investigations

4. Distribution and Marketing Strategies.

We have acted as distributor for several companies based in former Yugoslavia but also just as a distributor (wholesaler) since they operate directly as well. We have stop distribution of the medicines that these companies offer (by the end of 2009) since we now intend to distribute only our own products by positioning ourselves as Exclusive Distributor. Since September 2007 we have begun distributing only drugs with top quality thus becoming the only pharmaceutical company that distribute only quality products and now we are known as a company that bring only quality products so doctors are having special attention on our products when we introduce new products in market.

On Marketing we are the most aggressive company and the only company that spend more than 51% of gross profit in Marketing (for this we have received a worming from Tax Administration since this is not usual for Balkan Market (except Coca-Cola).

We pretend that all products that we introduce in Market to have more than 2/3 of market share.

Marketing for Kosovo.

In our marketing team (in Kosovo) are 11 people that cover 5 regions and visit about 1500 doctors monthly (5 doctors per day).

We cooperate with about 95% of doctors and have good (excellent) cooperation with about 40% of all doctors.
