Zhengzhou Research Institute Of Mechanical Engineering (ZRIME) has experienced 50 years of development. ZRIME evolves from a first-class research institute belonging to the former Ministry of Mechanical Industry to a large Science Technology enterprise administrated directly by the central government. ZRIME is among the first batch of high-tech enterprises certified by Henan Province and the scientific and technological renovation pilot enterprise of Henan Province. Our company is specialized in the scientific research, new product development, achievement transformation, technical service, personnel training and mass production, as well as import and export. Our institute totally has more than 1000 staff members, including 36 experts with the honor of government allowance, 63 research fellows and 150 senior engineers. The Welding Center of ZRIME has comprehensive abilities of power research and development, technical service and industrial development based on the research of metal welding process, welding materials, welding equipment, and production equipment for welding consumables. There are four professional research offices in our welding center. Brazing Research Department mainly studies the brazing process and filler metals, and has developed a variety of the common brazing materials. National Key Laboratory of New Brazing Filler Metals Technology was approved to be set up in December, 2010. Special Welding Material Research Department has the capability to take such projects as pre-protection to wear component and repair surfacing work, with the main studying directions diversified into surfacing electrode, flux-cored wire, stainless steel wire or rod and overlaying process technology. Welding Material Equipment Department researches CO2 gas shielded solid coppered welding wires, submerged arc coppered welding wires, flux-cored wires and stainless steel wires, as well as non-ferrous wire production process technology and equipment, and has the ability to supply customers with entire processes of production of copper-coating wire and relevant technology service. Welding technology And Equipment Research Department studies the welding process and invention of welding machines, stainless steel welding products and submerged arc welding flux, and offers welding process technology services.
