In the last years many producer organizations were established in Hungary. These organizations decided to compete for the Producer Organization (PO) title. In the European Union in the regulation of fruit and vegetable market and the co-ordination of production the POs play determinant role. The members of the sector do not get direct subsidies. The producers can get only subsidies by indirect method through the POs. These kinds of subsidies must be used under control of the aims that are available in the operating program of the PO.
